Weird way to save the world – SERIES: WEiRD (7/31/2011)

Religion is our normal attempt to reach God. We have to believe the right thing behave the right way worship the right way and be part of the right denomination in order to be saved. All of that is the “normal” way of knowing you are saved. But God didn’t send a religion to save us He did it in a WEiRD way by send us His Son to die on a cross to save us. This week special guest speaker Justin Reinhard talks to us about the WEiRD way God saved the world.

How many of you have ever said or done something “normal” to give into your desires? This week (7/24/11) Keenan spoke about why we need to have a Weird desire to be like Christ. Jacob and Esau are a great example of what a “normal” desire is compared to a Weird desire of God.

God did not design us to look exactly like everyone else – He designed us to be unique reflections of his love and character.
